Responsibilities:

• Stress the need to prioritize road safety while driving tractor-trailers.
• Perform detailed checks before and after trips to verify the vehicle's fitness for the road.
• Generate well-planned routes to improve efficiency and guarantee on-time deliveries.
• Follow the stipulated rules for handling and packaging to ensure the safe and secure transportation of goods.
• Effective communication with dispatchers and clients throughout deliveries is crucial for successful outcomes.
• Keep precise records of hours worked and regular upkeep of vehicles.
• Implement the safety procedures prescribed by the Department of Transportation (DOT) to maintain the security of workers and cargo.
• Quickly inform the relevant parties about any vehicle issues, occurrences, or transgressions to ensure adherence to regulations.

Qualifications:

• Having a valid Class A CDL is a requirement.
• Clean driving record.
• In accordance with DOT standards for physical assessments and substance testing.
• Proficient in time management and task coordination.
• Specialize in safely and effectively moving hefty and oversized items.
• Exhibits outstanding skills in customer relationship management and building lasting client rapport.
• Dedication to safety measures and adherence to regulatory requirements, including promptly reporting incidents.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Participants
• Designed for entry-level commercial drivers, the 12-week training curriculum is structured to promote accelerated learning through a well-organized program. Participants with diverse experience levels, ranging from 3 months to over 5 years, can benefit from the training

Preferred Experience:

• Proficiency in managing and driving a wide range of trailer types, like dry van, refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker trailers.
• Proficiency in operating with doubles or triples, intermodal transit options, and the transport of automotive vehicles.
• Expertise in managing domestic items and unique shipments.
