Relief Driver

Job Summary:

Roles and Duties:

• Safely drive trucks to deliver products to scheduled customers.
• Unload products using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand.
• Place products in designated customer storage areas.
• Verify accuracy of delivery and obtain proper signatures.
• Handle collections and payments as required.
• Perform customer service duties to enhance client satisfaction.
• Complete all pre-trip and post-trip inspections on equipment.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid CDL Class A license with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• Minimum 6 months of commercial driving experience (any industry) or 3 months in food/beverage delivery.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission preferred (may be required at some locations).
• Must register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse.
• English proficiency: must be able to read, converse, and write in English for safety and reporting requirements.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively.
• Must be comfortable driving and working in inclement weather.
• Frequent stops (10+ per shift) required.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly base rate starting at $32.32/hour; range is $32.00–$35.00 depending on experience and qualifications.
• Eligible for overtime compensation.
• $10,000 Retention Bonus paid over one year.
