Responsibilities:

• Put an emphasis on prioritizing safety when maneuvering tractor-trailers on the road.
• Perform comprehensive vehicle checks before and after trips to confirm that the vehicle is safe for the road.
• Formulate effective delivery strategies to increase efficiency and uphold timely shipment arrivals.
• Follow procedures for securely handling and packaging shipments to ensure their safe delivery.
• Uphold transparent communication with dispatchers and recipients throughout the entire delivery process.
• Keep precise records of hours spent working and regular upkeep of vehicles.
• Observe the Department of Transportation (DOT) safety protocols to guarantee the protection of employees and the commodities being shipped
• Swiftly communicate any vehicle problems, events, or breaches to guarantee adherence to guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Necessity of a CDL that falls under the Class A category.
• Upholding an impeccable driving record. Complying with DOT physical assessment and drug screening prerequisites.
• Effective management of time and coordination of tasks are essential skills.
• Proficient in safely and effectively handling the transportation of heavy and sizable objects.
• Skilled in delivering exceptional customer service and adept at building enduring relationships with clients.
• Maintaining a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance, including the timely reporting of any incidents that may arise.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Participants
• Entry-Level Commercial Drivers
• An intensive 12-week training program formulated to enhance the learning experience, tailored for participants at varying experience levels from three months to over five years

Preferred Experience:

• Competency in navigating through a variety of trailers, including dry van, refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker models.
• Competence in overseeing simultaneous shipments, integrating different transport modes, and transporting autos.
• Proficiency in managing domestic items and specialized freight.
