Customer Account Lead II

Job Summary:

General Mills is seeking a highly motivated Customer Account Lead II to join the Meals Baking Operating Unit team, supporting our partnership with Kroger. This role will focus on driving volume, sales, and holistic planning with General Mills' largest grocery customer. Based in Cincinnati, OH, the CAL II will play a key role in executing strategic merchandising, pricing, and trade planning, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and Kroger leadership.

Duties and Roles:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Kroger category managers and internal stakeholders.
• Lead annual volume planning and drive sales growth across assigned categories.
• Coordinate and execute merchandising plans and promotional strategies.
• Utilize trade planning tools to optimize pricing and promotional flow.
• Leverage consumer insights and analytics (e.g., IRI, Market 6, 84.51) to support category growth.
• Collaborate closely with internal brand teams, shopper marketing, and ICS forecasting.
• Model Engaging Leader behaviors and contribute to a positive team culture.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 2+ years of experience in sales, account management, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with syndicated data sources.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience supporting the Kroger account.
• Interest in career development and long-term growth within General Mills.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $79,500 - $119,400 annually, based on skills, experience, and role-specific factors.
