• Ensure the vehicle's roadworthiness by conducting thorough inspections before departure and upon completion of the trip.
• Optimize delivery routes for better performance and adherence to time-sensitive deadlines.
• Abide by the necessary procedures for handling and packaging to maintain the safety of the goods during transit.
• Ensure open and steady communication with dispatchers and customers.
• Keep precise track of hours worked and conduct regular vehicle maintenance inspections.
• Ensure full compliance with the safety regulations and guidelines outlined by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
• Swiftly report any vehicle-related issues, occurrences, or violations to guarantee adherence to regulations.

Qualifications:

• An up-to-date Class A Commercial Driver鈥檚 License (CDL).
• Unmarred driving record with no major offenses on record.
• Adhering to the DOT's expectations for physical examinations and substance abuse evaluations.
• Having strong skills in time management and organization aids in productivity.
• Proficient in the safe and secure management of large or oversized cargo during transportation.
• Well-versed in customer service, particularly in the art of building and maintaining relationships.
• Showing a strong commitment to safety protocols and regulatory compliance, with a focus on promptly reporting any incidents that occur.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Graduates
• Participants in our organized 12-week training initiative for novice commercial drivers, aimed at enhancing skill progression for drivers with a background spanning from three months to five years.

Preferred Experience:

• Aptitude in driving different trailer configurations, like dry van, refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker trailers.
• Skill in handling various unit operations, combining vehicles, and utilizing multiple transportation modes effectively.
• Expertise in dealing with residential items and customized logistics.
