Responsibilities:

• Safety should be the top priority when driving tractor-trailers on the road.
• Conduct meticulous inspections of the vehicle both before and after each trip to validate its roadworthiness.
• Create optimal delivery schedules to enhance productivity and guarantee punctual deliveries.
• Comply with instructions on the handling and packaging of items to maintain their security during transit.
• Keep lines of communication open with dispatchers and customers at all stages of the delivery procedure.
• Document hours worked and regular vehicle upkeep accurately.
• Abide by the safety guidelines outlined by the Department of Transportation (DOT) to ensure the welfare of employees and the safe transportation of goods
• Quickly report any vehicle complications, incidents, or infractions to maintain compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:

• Adherence to possessing a Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL).
• Maintaining a spotless driving history. Adhering to DOT physical examination and drug testing criteria.
• Possessing excellent skills in managing time and coordinating tasks.
• Proficiency in the secure and effective transportation of large and weighty objects.
• Possessing remarkable customer service abilities and a talent for cultivating lasting client connections.
• Dedication to safety protocols and adherence to regulations, with a focus on promptly reporting any incidents that occur.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Participants
• Entry-Level Commercial Drivers
• A curriculum spanning 12 weeks, aimed at facilitating rapid learning for individuals with experience levels that range from three months up to more than five years

Preferred Experience:

• Proficient in operating different trailer types, like dry van, refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker units.
• Familiarity with handling multiple shipments simultaneously, combined transport methods, and vehicle transportation.
• Acumen in the supervision of personal belongings and distinctive shipments.
