Production Operator

Job Summary:

General Mills is seeking motivated individuals to join our Manufacturing Team as General Production Operators on the night shift. You’ll be involved in producing high-quality foods enjoyed nationwide. This role includes operating production equipment, supporting processing and packaging operations, and participating in start-up, changeover, and shutdown procedures. Candidates must be dependable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Duties and Roles:

• Operate and maintain processing and packaging machinery
• Calibrate systems daily to meet production standards
• Troubleshoot machinery issues in collaboration with maintenance staff
• Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Support sanitation efforts and maintain a clean work area
• Train and support new employees
• Work with experienced teams to achieve operational goals

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and twisting for extended periods
• Comfortable working in various environmental conditions (hot, cold, dusty, noisy, or wet)
• Ability to work at heights and with industrial equipment
• Must be willing to follow grooming and hygiene standards for food production
• Willing to work night shifts (6 PM to 6 AM) and handle allergens present in food manufacturing
