Sr. Full Stack Engineer

Job Summary:

This hybrid position, based in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, is for a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Foot Locker. The role involves leading the development of complex software systems using Java, JavaScript, microservices, and cloud platforms. You’ll play a key part in mentoring junior engineers, maintaining code quality, and driving enhancements that improve productivity and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Duties and Roles:

• Lead the design and implementation of sophisticated software solutions.
• Develop high-performance applications using Java, JavaScript, microservices, and cloud services.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior software engineers.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to solve complex business problems.
• Identify and recommend improvements to systems and workflows for increased team efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one backend language (e.g., Java, Python).
• Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and build tools (e.g., Webpack).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with digital analytics platforms (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics).
• Proven ability to mentor and guide junior engineering team members.
