Responsibilities:

• Stress the need to prioritize safety while driving tractor-trailers.
• Perform careful pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ascertain that the vehicle is roadworthy.
• Formulate effective delivery strategies to increase efficiency and uphold timely shipment arrivals.
• Abide by rules concerning the treatment and packaging of items to secure their transportation.
• Maintain consistent and open communication with dispatch personnel and customers during transport.
• Maintain accurate logs of work hours and standard car servicing.
• Abide by the safety guidelines outlined by the Department of Transportation (DOT) to ensure the welfare of employees and the safe transportation of goods
• Quickly communicate any vehicle malfunctions, occurrences, or breaches to guarantee conformity with guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Validity of a commercial driver’s license at the Class A grade.
• Keeping a clean driving record. Following DOT physical evaluation and drug screening regulations accordingly.
• Possessing excellent skills in managing time and coordinating tasks.
• Proficiency in safely and effectively transporting heavy and cumbersome materials.
• Demonstrating exceptional customer service skills and a knack for establishing long-term client rapport.
• Demonstrating unwavering dedication to safety and regulatory compliance through the prompt reporting of any incidents.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Participants
• Entry-Level Commercial Drivers
• A curriculum focused on accelerated learning over a 12-week period, catering to a diverse range of experience levels from three months to five years and beyond

Preferred Experience:

• Proficiency in operating an assortment of trailers, including dry vans, reefers, flatbeds, and tankers.
• Competence in overseeing simultaneous shipments, integrating different transport modes, and transporting autos.
• Familiarity with the handling of household possessions and unique cargo.
