Job Summary:
The Merchandise Processing Associate at Savers / Value Village plays an essential role in creating an amazing experience for customers, donors, and team members. This position focuses on processing gently-used, one-of-a-kind items, ensuring the store is stocked with quality merchandise for our customers. We are hiring for both full-time and part-time positions. Associates will have opportunities to grow and develop in a dynamic work environment.
Roles and Duties:
- Process donations quickly and efficiently to ensure a steady flow of new merchandise onto the sales floor.
- Sort and price items to meet our store’s standards, ensuring products are presented in an appealing way for our customers.
- Work collaboratively with team members to keep the store clean and organized.
- Ensure all donated items are handled with care, and any damage or issues are reported immediately.
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting customers when necessary and answering any questions about our products or services.
- Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward work, contributing to a fun and welcoming environment.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or merchandise processing preferred but not required.
Minimum Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred, not required).
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures.
- Ability to bend, twist, and reach to process merchandise and maintain store organization.
